12 Dimensions Critical Reflection

Part 1: Choose 4-6 Dimensions and describe them in your own words.

I will be talking about Faisal's results; the dimensions I will be describing in this reflection are Outlook, Destiny, Decision Making, Communication and Context. Outlook is either to be Traditional which you choose to be in the climate you are born in or to be Innovational which you choose to be out of the climate you are born in and go to other climates.  Destiny, you choose your own road and have your own choice which is Directive or the road you are taking is chosen for you and the choices are made by others which is Directed. Decision Making is based on following the rules or to follow the relationship, in other words, choosing the job or people. Communication is talking to other people in an indirect way or in a direct way. Context is like a dress code to be formal or informal depending on the place you are in.

Part 2: Describe what you learnt from your questionnaire results, saying if you agree with the results or not and why.

I learnt from Faisal’s questionnaire results that he is more innovative and his results show that he is leaning away from his culture and I also learnt that he chooses his own choices. I definitely agree with Faisal’s results because long ago the people in our country they concentrate very much on their cultures and if Faisal is still following his culture the results about him will change all of it. I don’t say that Faisal’s results shows it is bad, I say that Faisal’s results are very good because his results show that he is more innovative as I said, which it is a good thing.

Part 3: Do you think your results will be different in 5 years’ time? Why/ Why not? Would you like some dimensions to change? Why/ Why not?

Yes I think Faisal’s results will change in 5 years’ time or so because it depends on his life, it depends if he would be a father or a manager in a company.

Yes I would like some of his dimensions to change. Decision Making and planning would be better to change because in Decision Making he follow the rules more than relationship and that will make some enemies in the future depending on his culture and for planning he is more with time than with people, it is a good thing but in the culture it would be better for him lean more to people.

Exercise 4#

Amish and english people are two different types of people. They both have traditions and they both different cultures. The difference between them is that english people accepted change they accepted the developing of life and adapted to the new way of life. Amish people didn't, they are still attached and they don't want to adapt to the new developing of life. The don't mind reveling to different cultures but they avoid communication with different cultures. They don't use any technology so no telephones or cars, they still use horses and buggies. They're two different people one accepted to change their culture and adapted to the new technology and one didn't.
Arabic culture is a culture that doesn't mind adapting to the new way of life. It accepts new culture or different cultures. They don't mind reveling their cultures and traditions to other cultures and they're proud of it. They don't mind communicating with different cultures. On top of all that they're really proud of their culture.

Exercise #1

                                         Bull Fighting

Bull fighting is a fun and a dangerous culture began in the 1800s. I think the Bullfighting culture is acceptable, but it has its limits because it is very dangerous and risky and may cause death. Young adults  look forward to risking their lives every year just to have fun with friends by running with the bulls and by the end the young adults get to laugh and have a fun memory with the bulls. It is a fun culture among many other cultures with a great experience.
